It seems that some people didn't a complete set of discs with their computers. I thought that this problem was restricted to just the Logitech webcam disc but it seems not.

Below is a list of what I think you should have got, post a message on the forum or email me (click HERE) if you have any queries. Everything was either in that brown box the installer left or the Works box.

If you find you are missing discs phone Ann (PCW Customer Services) on 0161 447 3209 and give her your compaq serial no, your name and address and she will send them to you. 

5 red Compaq Discs.

Compaq Quick Restore discs 1 & 2

Compaq Quick Restore Driver Support CD

Compaq Operating System CD (Microsoft Windows XP Home)

Compaq V570 Colour Monitor (Software and User's Guide)

Green and white Logitech disc

Quickcam 6.0.1 (Windows) (check this carefully, the disc has often been replaced by very similar looking PDA or Typeaway discs).

2 Epson discs

(Epson Stylus C40 Plus) Printer Software (Disc Vol.2.1E)

Robbie Williams (Image CD) Contains printer user guide, Photo Quicken (image editing program) and Adobe Acrobat 5)

1 Norton Internet Security Disc

Yellow disc containing Norton Firewall, Parental Controls and Norton Antivirus.

5 Microsoft Works Suite discs

5 orange discs numbered 1 to 5 in a square compact disc sized box inside the an orange box about the size of a standard soap powder box.

This problem came to light as a result of a post by dazedandconfused on the forum, if you are having a problem join the forum and post a message, you may find that you are not alone.
